sabinelagrande | LJ Is for Happymaking: Day 6

There was actually a lot of happymaking today, even though I got hardly anything I intended accomplished. I started the day out in the bath reading In Gods We Trust for theory- which, if you can get beyond the irretrievably stupid introduction, where the author does a horrible job of presenting his arguments, is actually a pretty compelling read. He also quotes Rodney Stark several times, just as the last book we read did, and I have a quiet little sporfle every time I read it.

Then I went out and had a preponderance of Thai food. OMG. So good. I got a salad; I was unaware that their definition of salad is a big plate of meat with a couple of tomatoes in it. I was totally okay with it.

When I got back to my apartment, the lady who parks next to me in the garage was getting into her car, and she rushed over and introduced herself, then proceeded to talk at me for like fifteen minutes. I had my very first "No, ma'am, I'm not that kind of doctor" moment; she still told me all about her nephew the resident anyway. It was kinda weird, but she was just so precious and nervous and old money that it was also kind of adorable.

Then I came upstairs, made a cake that ended up being mauve (not that I'm complaining, it's Easter after all), and wrote porn. Hopefully, there will be more on this subject later. I have this horrible inability to finish things lately.
