I love your version, particularly how clueless they both are about the relationship part and how hot the physical attraction is. I mean, Sheppard is always in Rodneys space when they are guys, you just knew it would go this way. And I love Mer being a mass of neuroses and self-absorption and helpless longing for Sheppard while Sheppard adapts and reacts, which I think is his essential quality.
