So very, very tired.

I'm currently uploading pictures of Joe Flanigan (THAT I TOOK, WITH MY CAMERA, WHEN I WAS TWENTY FEET AWAY FROM HISSELF), but! Enjoy this meme until then.

Give me the title of a story I've never written, and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.

ETA: Okay, so that took, like, way less time than I thought. I'm going to go back and, like, make a proper post, BUT UNTIL THAT DAY, HERE are all my pictures (that turned out) from Sunday's Supergate Panel at Dragon*Con. Most of them are Joe and Rachel, but there's also Claudia Black, Ben Browder, Paul McGillion, and Jason Momoa in there too.

And now I'm going to go eat something, before I die.

DUDE I loved how realistic that Flanigan/Momoa RPF was that you wrote after DragonCon. I was surprised you went there, and that I went there with you, but all the details you were able to work in because you'd just seen them twenty feet away really made it shine.

:D

You know, I think I've said everything I can say about that fic, honestly, what with the gag order and all. But I just want everyone to know that the scene with the whipped cream really did happen. Sadly, I just wasn't able to work in the post-coital conversation that I wanted to; you know, I tried and tried, but it just turned into a five page aside about Michel Foucault, as usual.

Accustomed to a Smoother Ride, that sequel to The Roots of Rhythm Remain was hysterical. How they get suckered into that vacation with Evan, Ethan, and Ethan's parents, and all the squabbling over the baby (you'd think it'd be easy with eight adults and only one infant, but you'd be sooooo wrong), and how Lisa and James can't stand Ethan's parents but somehow Greg gets along with them incredibly well... Hilarious!

Honestly, that's not the way I intended to end it. I really almost called back to National Lampoon's Vacation and had the park be closed when they got there- As you can imagine, it'd have been a much shorter story! But I'm glad I didn't, because it gave me way more time to develop Samantha and Marlena, because nothing is funnier than them running around the park with House. :D

The Thorns Broke I loved the darker look into the PTSD most of the original Atlantis residents have and how the SGC had to figure out a way to handle them after they reestablished contact and found them all to be so traumatized.

I have to say, my favorite part of that one is the scene where Kate is talking to the psychologist from the SGC about what everybody's going through, and you slowly start to realize that she's talking about herself and not her patients. It was really hard to pull that off, but I think I did it.

I loved the pics, btw. Jason looks adorable and Paul has a look on his face that I can only describe as "I've fucked every one on this panel in my hotel room last night!" lol

Paul wasn't even supposed to be there, is the best part. He just, like, gate-crashed (heh).

On a related note, Ben was talking about how he'd invited everybody at the panel on Saturday on a party, and nobody showed up, and some lady down the front yelled, "We got lost on the way!"

And Paul, without missing a beat, yells back, "How could you? You were in my room!"

So, yeah. Paul probably looks like that because he probably did.
