So. I wracked my brain trying to find something to do with leather, and came up with little. Then I desperately mined the Joann's, and came up empty handed. But then an epiphany! Leather cord! But what can I do with it?

*Mostly because there's a mixture of fur and feathers in this picspam, and due to the quality of the photos and lighting, I can't always determine which one. I also apologize in advance that not all the images have alt text; this is because, except where noted, they are all pictures of Mae West wearing fur. Fill that in.

So today for Kink Bingo, I'd like to talk to you about this bad bitch. Who could it be but Mae? Besides Tallulah. )

I go on and off with collecting things, but one of the things I love to collect is card decks. Card decks have a lot of attributes that I find excellent in a collectible- there's an endless variety, they're small, I can be satisfied with cheap ones, and I can play with them to my heart's content. I don't just find them pretty or useful, though prettiness and utility are nice. I like the physical sensation of holding a card, of feeling its surface, of weighing it in my hand. That, to me, is one of the most important things about a deck: the kind of sensation it will produce, and how.

There are a lot of decks I could show you, but I just moved, so everything I own is scattered to the winds. But I keep my tarot decks together and on hand, so let's stick with tarot, shall we? And away we go! )

A poll for you!

I have this original comic book I'm developing, right? Here's the premise, if you're just joining us:
Assassins Anonymous tells the story of a group of retired assassins, bound together by their participation in a support group designed to keep them from relapsing into their murderous lifestyles- which, of course, keep coming back to bite them. The story is primarily character-driven with an ensemble cast, made up of various kinds of killers-for-hire: poisoners, weapons experts, killing machines, and the like. Much of the focus is on their everyday lives as they try to stay clean, which is not helped by the way that certain events and people seem to be conspiring against them.

You can also find more information at the tumblr, for all your tumblr needs.

So here's the thing: I've always intended to do a kickstarter for Assassins Anonymous. Originally the idea was to do it to get the first issue printed, but the problem is that I can't find an artist, not one who will commit to working on the comic for free. The new plan is to run a kickstarter to pay an artist to get the comic made. And to that end, I ask for your input!

ETA: For reference, some of the things I'm considering for the rewards include putting backers on special pages of honor, written-to-order short stories, a special (prob digital) book with character backstories etc., just what have you.

Is anybody interested in playing in a Night Vale RPG?

I'm less interested in playing an LJ/DW style freeform RPG; I'd rather run it as a top-down, DM-vs-players style thing, though I think DW would still be a good platform. It would be small, not more than ten players + DM (me).

I don't intend to try it unless I get at least 4 people interested in playing. Anybody?

ETA: Game's on! Still plenty of room for more people to play.

This post is definitely NSFW, for large images with swear words on them. It is, however, hopefully pretty damn funny. So forgive me. Or don't!

Is anybody interested in taking a co-creator card with me? I have a lot of ideas on ways to collaborate- illustrated words, words to be podficced, tag-team rec lists and picspams, plain old co-written words, etc etc. TBH I think you could do a whole bingo of just Click and Clack meta discussion on the kinks involved, recorded or just written out.

Fandoms I'm down for include MCU, Blake's 7, Welcome to Night Vale, Archer, Venture Bros., Ultimate Spider-Man, or SGA. Also interested in non-fandom stuff. My one request is that we opt out of guro, as it is my one squick from the list.

Takers? Since there's so long until the next round, would be happy to take more than one.

BINGOOOOOOO

My card! )

Soooooo excite! There's honestly nothing on there I don't want to write. Body inflation! Tears! Two kinds of humiliation! I don't have any plans yet except for body inflation and maybe the wildcard (by god this Carlos/Cecil story is going on here somewhere), so please give to me the prompts. I might blackout, I might not- since the next round isn't for so long, I'll try, but I intend to be fairly lazy about it. I do intend to do one speed-run line to see exactly how long it takes to bingo- fic only, shooting only for the minimum word count but full stories. It will be grand.

While I've got you here, check out some ridiculousness: if you're into MCU and Night Vale, which really, you should be, please enjoy this crossover what I wrote, where Phil is from Night Vale (how else is he so nonchalant?). It pleases me.

This is something I wrote when I was working in the Park Service for the first time, and may be amusing to- okay I'm posting it because I thought it might amuse [personal profile] eruthros because we were talking about the 30's on twitter. I wrote this a quatrillion years ago, and it is a description of how exactly to don women's daily- not formal, as this does not include a proper foundation garment- attire from the late 1930's.

No part of this is an exaggeration.
