Wine? Nap? Romance novel? All three?

1. So I was feeling like crap this afternoon, but those GQMFs at [livejournal.com profile] ontd_startrek cheered me right up. Macros make my life better. Trufax.

2. One more thing about Big Bang, then I'll save it for [livejournal.com profile] bigbang_support and the filter: Dude, why is LJ suddenly all het up about consent while I'm writing Rodney's 20000 word struggle to be That Guy?

(Er, not to say that he stops struggling after the first half or anything, it's just that the story takes a major turn there.)

3. Come on, people, there's got to be some excuse to write Zelenka/Chekov.

4. Am considering giving vidding one more go before I chuck it into the bin; have an idea for a short (< 2 min), funny vid for a starter. Only now I can't figure out how to suppress audio. Argh.

5. OMG [livejournal.com profile] arymabeth this weekend. We are going to drink so much wine. And possibly go to the kids' science museum. Preferably not in that order.

Good points. However, I have faith that their shared interests in sexy sexy maths will get them through! (Also, *hairtastic*, HAH, *yes*.) Because that is too damn adorable to fail.

And also, crap, I'm afraid I can't help you. :( I'm mac-vidding, and removing sound from my clips in Final Cut Pro. But I went through the archives of [livejournal.com profile] vidding, and found this, about suppressing audio (http://community.livejournal.com/vidding/477423.html); if you've already checked vidding, my bad! (I just, uh, have a lot invested in getting as much of my flist vidding as possible, hee!)

I nearly gave up vidding for good after a disastrous first try on iMovie. Finding decent tools really does make a *huge* difference.

Ah ha! I knew there had to be an option like that around there somewhere. You are a lifesaver. <3

I used to use iMovie - that was what I started on, but that was also because iMovie 6 didn't SUCK. Unlike 8. I was really really sad when I got my mac and I had failmovie software :(
